Design

The design for the offices has been developed as a response to the unique fabric and distinct historic identity of Canongate and the Royal Mile. Office provision ensures that this is protected while offering competitive amenities and a modern office building. This also complements the heritage of the surrounding area.

 There will be four floors designed for small and medium businesses, with provision for co-working. Co-working spaces are a type of shared office that involve an open environment located in either high-rises or old sites reconfigured for these new ways of working. Co-working spaces provide a more flexible, accessible and affordable option for businesses.

Each floor will have 5,000 sq ft with accessible break out spaces on the top two floors.

The building will have strong sustainability credentials with on-site cycling provision and facilities for greener commuting.
